What would happen if the great Jean-Michel Basquiat had illustrated what is arguably the best, most well-known piece of literature ever written?
My goal was not to copy Basquiat’s style; since that is a near-impossible task. I strived to make my interpretation of it; making everything by hand, including the text, and creating independent pieces on each double page while maintaining the continuity of the whole.
